Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Refining and Assets Analysis to join our global Oils & NGLs Research team.  This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver market leading research to our clients, shape our product roadmap and drive commercial growth for the business. Our dedicated downstream oil and assets teams are located around the world, and deliver research and consulting projects based on our assessment and valuation of hundreds of individual assets. Together we work with a range of clients including national and major oil companies, operators, investment banks and institutional investors. Essential Requirements:

·        Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in Oils / Petrochemicals Sector.

·        Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field such as Engineering, Economics or Earth Science.

·        Good understanding of crude oils and products markets.

·        Good communication and written skills.

·        Able to work independently and a good team player.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Oils & NGLs, you will lead a global team recognized for providing trusted global industry expertise that enables our clients to get unrivalled access to oil asset data. You will be responsible for delivering the vision and strategy for Oil Refining and Asset research through a collaborative approach across all divisions at Wood Mackenzie.  Your focus will be to drive growth and transform the business. You will foster an open, innovative and dynamic team environment where unconventional thinking is encouraged. 

You will be able to prioritize what matters to clients and your team.  Given your engagement with your network of senior-level clients and contacts you will understand their business/priorities. Internally you will ensure efficiency improvements on internal workflows and continued improvement of timeliness and quality of deliverables. You will also get involved in projects and new initiatives.

You will work in partnership with our product leads to develop a pipeline of unique research offerings that support rapid growth in clients and revenue. 

You will also work with colleagues in consulting, sales and marketing to maximize the revenue growth of the sector and ensure alignment across the divisions. 

Qualifications
