As a Senior Product Manager of Cloud Solutions, you will be responsible to develop and drive AIR’s cloud strategy both from a product and operations perspective. You will bring AIR’s current and next generation products to the public cloud.

You will:

·       Drive the vision by developing, refining and owning AIR’s strategy for moving products to public cloud.

·       Communicate with senior management and business teams, show leadership and project management skills

·       Help AIR and our clients make a strategic choice of cloud provider – decisions based on data and metrics.

·       Be an accomplished practitioner with at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google) and can interact as a peer with that provider’s architects and designers. You should have some familiarity with the distinctions between these environments and ideally with some of the lesser known ones as well. You will learn (or augment) your knowledge of AIR and our products to be able to converse with cloud provider architects about our needs and constraints as we negotiate partnerships and relationships.

·       Collaborate across the entire AIR organization to drive execution. You will consult with and provide guidance to our development teams regarding their efforts to build products for cloud environments and will serve as a knowledgeable and experienced resource to AIR to accelerate the organization’s vision of cloud deployment.

·       Collaborate with cloud infrastructure architect and Verisk on best practices.

·       Engage in architectural, business analysis and planning discussions.

·       Engage cloud providers on product comparisons, proof-of-concepts, pricing & negotiations.

·       Pricing models for our software platform on cloud - develop recommendations.

Oversee the entire product life cycle strategic planning to release management

You should possess:

·       BS Degree in technical or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

·       15 years’ related experience in a technical environment

·       5+ years of experience with public clouds

·       Experience building cloud (AWS or Azure) native applications or migrating applications from on-premise to cloud.

·       Vendor relationship and negotiating skills

·       Experience in developing and articulating cloud economics to clients.

·       Experience with big data solutions on the cloud platforms.

·       Knowledge of cloud computing stack and concepts like virtualization, containerization, cloud security, compliance/regulation, disaster recovery planning is a plus.

·       Engage clients to communicate vision and gather requirements

·       Experience in DevOps and Agile preferred

·       Ability to bring cross functional teams together and drive consensus, while navigating the channels, to find common ground

·       Curiosity and passion to develop a deep understanding of our values and products

·       Knowledge about cloud usage and concerns in the (Re)Insurance is a plus

·       Effective project management, organizational skills and proven track record of delivering solutions

·       Success working in a fast-paced environment
