About the Role:

Are you passionate about building products and taking them to market? Can you lead products with complex analytics? Do you understand insurance and risk management? Your position as a Senior Product Manager in the product management team will be responsible for contributing to the success of AIR’s Cyber risk modeling products by driving vision, creating roadmaps, participating in product planning, requirement development and implementation activities. You will serve as AIR’s evangelist for the Cyber products/features, by assessing client’s needs, and competitive offerings to develop business cases, product requirements and support a long-term product roadmap. You will also manage product owners for multiple teams involved in product development. 


About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role:


•    Serve as AIR’s evangelist for AIR Cyber insurance risk modeling product, by assessing client’s needs, and competitive offerings to develop product requirements and support a long-term product roadmap.
•    Work with business owners to define target market by mapping product needs with target markets and help define go to market plans
•    Analyze market segments to target product features based on business case. 
•    Conduct competitive analysis by identifying competitive offerings in the market. Assess their strengths and weaknesses. Develop a strategy for winning against the competition.
•    Collaborate with AIR Model managers, Software Managers and Business owner to develop a roadmap and prioritize features
•    Share roadmap with senior stakeholders and get internal buy in.
•    Supporting development efforts by documenting software requirements
•    Collaborating with software developers, sales, consulting, researchers and subject matter experts
•    Assist Consulting team in investigating and resolving issues reported in AIR products
 

Qualifications

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role:

•    8+’ years software product management building products for commercial insurance Risk management or catastrophe modeling solutions
•    Ability to balance multiple objectives, projects, stakeholders and goals simultaneously 
•    Demonstrated ability to include the "big picture" when developing products and plans for new initiatives
•    Strong technical acumen, analytical skills, quantitative and problem solving ability, experience with Cloud a plus
•    Excellent presentation, public speaking and written communication skills
•    Experience and demonstrated skills communicating with peers, managers, and senior leadership 
•    Experience managing people directly and by influence
•    Self-motivated and quick learner, with good organization and time management skills
•    BS Degree in technical or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
•    Familiarity with Agile software development practices is a plus 
•    Familiarity with Cyber insurance industry is a plus
