POSITION:                        Principal Analyst (Steel and Iron Ore Cost Analyst)

DUTIES:                            Responsibilities include: providing clients with in-depth commercial analysis relating to steel and iron ore assets and companies; applying knowledge of steel and iron ore industry to internal cost research products; researching and collating information focusing on commercial and financial aspects of the steel and iron ore sector; reviewing, prioritizing and analyzing data and using it to produce quantitative and qualitative reviews and updates; conducting bottom-up analysis of the cost structure of steel plants and iron ore mine assets including operational metrics and benchmarking; providing clients with concise analysis of industry trends and events; contributing to the global analysis of the iron ore supply; effectively communicating analysis findings to clients through written deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, Economics or closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in the iron ore/steel cost sector.
