Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead a team that identifies market and customer needs, develops products and solutions, and drives revenue growth in the Fraud and Credit Risk sector globally. Responsibilities of this role will include: 
 

  • Lead definition of strategy and road map for Fraud and Credit Risk globally including market-specific plans, product development, customer sell-in, and partner development and management
  • Act as internal and external visionary on how Verisk Financial|Argus assets can be used to help banks and other customers identify and reduce fraud and improve credit risk decisions
  • Interact with external partners to anticipate market changes and future needs to leverage technology and start up solutions to create continuous improvement
  • Own sector P&L including customer retention and growth, revenue targets, pricing, contracts, etc
  • Connect and leverage across all Verisk and Verisk Financial teams and products to identify synergies and opportunities to develop new solutions
  • Be accountable for the quality of deliverables and customer relationships
  • Lead global team with 5-10 people, providing both motivation and mentor-ship for all team members
  • Create, cultivate and reward a culture of innovation, inclusiveness and decisiveness within organization
  • Support cross-functional goals and processes across the Verisk organization

Qualifications

  • Fifteen or more years of financial services experience with focus on Fraud or Credit Risk strategy, products, and team leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant major such as Business Administration, Computer Science with Masters’ Degree preferred
  • Proven track record of leading Fraud or Credit Risk teams at a market-leading bank, including solving complex problems for large and demanding customers
  • Strong record and experience with managing large, development projects with internal and external global teams
  • A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: can articulate and communicate ideas well and relate to people in all areas of the organization
  • Leadership: a demonstrated ability in collaborating and getting results through others, communicating effectively with internal clients to identify needs and find the right solutions and strategies
  • Strong customer orientation combined with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Willing to be deeply involved in employee development and building a global team
