Job Description

This position provides programming and maintenance support of internal and external programs, with a specific focus on rule logic for regulatory compliance in SAP EH&S. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and take a first step into programming. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support development of documentation for rules
  • Trains clients and colleagues on Rules logic and use
  • Consults with clients on custom projects completing all deliverables on-time and according to contracts
  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in Information Technology with solid knowledge of windows operating systems, office automation and Windows software applications.
  • Excellent technical aptitude
  • Experience working on an IT project or in an IT product support environment.
  • Strong English skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously and deliver necessary documentation.

Desirable however not required:

  • Experience with SAP EHS PSS (Product Safety & Stewardship) or S/4HANA for Product Compliance
  • Knowledge of SAP EHS Expert and its rule programming language
  • Experience working with Database Managements Systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or Microsoft Access
  • Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) including stored procedures and stored functions and Visual Basic
