The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering results from the Innovation team responsible for developing new products, capabilities and platforms for the Argus Portfolio Management division. Responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Project management:
• Serve as the primary senior contact working with the Managing Director of the Innovation team to manage and lead all key projects to successful testing and rollout
• Manage all internal and external development initiatives for Innovation projects including interacting with development teams globally
• Provide structure, manage and oversee the delivery of our product and solutions, which may include projects using advanced technology such as artificial intelligence, voice, machine learning, data visualization tools, etc
• Plan and implement projects to deliver on outcomes within scope, budget, approved timelines, and according to business unit priorities.
• Maintain open and consistent communications between project teams and leadership to resolve communication barriers and project issues.
• Prepare and deliver reports and project artifacts (schedules, requirements, design, backlogs, etc).
• Be accountable for the quality of deliverables and meeting service-level agreements
• Over time, could manage 1-2 person team, providing both motivation and mentorship for all team members
• Create, cultivate and reward a culture of innovation, inclusiveness and decisiveness within organization
• Support cross-functional goals and processes across the organization

• Five or more years of financial services experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant major such as Business Administration, Computer Science or Management Information Systems
• Strong record and experience with managing large, development projects with internal and external global teams
•  Advance knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe, RUP, etc.).  PMP certification preferred.
• A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: can articulate and communicate ideas well and relate to people in all areas of the organization
• Leadership: a demonstrated ability in collaborating and getting results through others, communicating effectively with internal clients to identify needs and find the right solutions and strategies
• Strong customer orientation combined with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Willing to be deeply involved in employee training and development
