Job Description

  • Manages multiple concurrent projects and leads teams throughout a project’s delivery life- cycle. Monitors and reports progress to project stakeholders on an agreed upon schedule. Surfaces gating issues and coordinates their resolution in a timely manner. Coaches the teams to higher levels of maturity, at a pace sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Independently resolves impediments as they surface and implements agreed upon solutions; follow standards, procedures and record project metrics as needed (i.e. Project start, finish dates, % Complete, Budget, Resource allocation).
  • Facilitates team standups, retrospectives, planning and refinement sessions. Assist Product Owners with maximizing productivity by helping to maintain the product backlog and release plan. 
  • Protects the project teams and keeps them focused on the specific stories/tasks in a given sprint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills with a demonstrated record of partnering with teams across an organization. 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple, and often conflicting business.
  • Strong ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical and non-technical employees.
  • Strong written and oral communication and analysis skills required.
  • Five years’ experience in project management with increasing responsibility, including agile product experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Suite Products.
  • PMP and/or Second Level Scrum Master certification required (e.g. CSM, PSM)
