POSITION:                       Research Analyst, Americas Energy Storage

DUTIES: Responsibilities include: working as part of a global research team, providing market leading data, analysis an insight for the global solar, wind, storage and power markets; research and content for power renewables intelligence; conducting original quantitative and qualitative market research and delivering analysis through written reports, consulting, client inquiries; presenting and advising clients and utility industry professionals on P&R analysis regarding the hanging landscape of the energy storage market; focusing on analysis of energy storage markets including demand analysis and forecasting, policy tracking and insight, competitive assessment, and project economic analysis; research encompassing development market assessment, cost benchmarking and forecasting, strategy identification, supply chain support and competitive analysis; advising electric utilities, technology vendors, investors and service providers on the future of energy storage markets in the region.

 

REQUIREMENTS: A Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Energy, Finance or closely related field and one year of experience in the job offered or one year of experience in proven analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative and analyzing large sets of data, working on economic models and preparing market analysis; and renewal power or power market research, development or operations. In lieu of a Master’s degree and one year of experience, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Energy, Finance or closely related field and five years of experience in the job offered or five years of experience in proven analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative and analyzing large sets of data, working on economic models and preparing market analysis; and renewal power or power market research, development or operations.
