Job Description

This role involves maintaining and managing 3E’s Middle East & Africa Chemicals management and Food regulatory database coverage, including monitoring, researching and analyzing various regulatory topics (e.g. chemicals, cosmetics, food contact/packaging, EHS and food related regulations, etc.).

Write regulatory news for regulatory changes and development (including up and coming legislation) in the MEA region.

Providing regulatory support for clients (including answering clients’ inquiries, conducting quality assurance and expert review of regulatory data, etc.)

Working with various departments at Verisk 3E in ensuring proper regulatory information dissemination in various companies’ products line and services.

Qualifications:

  • B.A/B.S. in Environmental Science, Political Science or International Affairs required; Master’s degree or J.D. highly preferred
  • 1-3 years of regulatory/ legal experience (preferably in EH&S industry)
  • Excellent comprehension in reading English, Arabic.
  • Oral and written fluency or proficiency in English required.
  • Excellent analytical, research and writing skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Legal/legislative or chemical background highly preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams required.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of efficiency with little supervision required.
  • Strong problem-solving thinking skills required.
