Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated engineer to join us in developing SaaS solutions for casualty catastrophe risk management. Your team will be responsible for all stages of the development process, from reviewing requirements, to design, development, testing and deployment. We are looking for a candidate who can pick up new technologies quickly, apply their newly acquired skills, and adapt to evolving requirements.

·        Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

·        Python, 3-5 years’ experience

·        AWS ideal, or other cloud environment (Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)

·        Data base skills - Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL

·        Ability to build out and manage a small team of off-shore developers

·        Boston-based

Nice to have:

·        Previous exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks preferred (AngularJS)

·        Previous exposure to insurance, in particular casualty lines

·        Previous exposure to probabilistic modelling
