Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

We are seeking a strong DevOps minded engineer to join our automation team. We embrace many of the disruptive technologies that are changing the status quo in technology. You will get to spend your day solving interesting and rewarding challenges. You will be a key team member along our journey as we use automation to change the way infrastructure and services are delivered to our customer.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Strong development experience in Python

·         Commits to Git every day

·         Daily development in Python and YAML

·         Code promotion through a CI/CD pipeline

·         Build monitoring and alerting around our processes, systems and services.

·         Great debugging skills and can investigate hard-to-reproduce crashes.

·         Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and how to take manual operational tasks and automate them

·         Implementing and working in configuration management tools. Ansible preferred. Chef and Puppet secondary

·         Immutable and mutable automated infrastructure workflows.

·         Automated testing techniques and practices, as they relate to the continuous integration of infrastructure components.  (“linting”, unit, integration and acceptance, load/performance)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·         B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

·         Experience with Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technologies (e.g StackStorm, Jenkins)

·         Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP

·         Experience with Kubernetes and Docker

·         Experience with Networking/Firewall

·         Experience with integration and unit test frameworks

·         Proficient with Linux command line and Bash

·         Must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team
