Role Description:

The successful candidate will take a lead role in bringing our product visions to market.  We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented business analyst to support the development of product enhancements, new features and new products.  The successful candidate will be organised,  self-motivated, creative and collaborative.  This is a dynamic position that touches all assets of the business and will allow you the opportunity to engage directly with customers and partners as well as be a key contributor to strategy development.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis, working closely with Sales and Client Success to fully understand customer needs
  • Support in the development of functional specification development, communicating effectively with the Software team and stakeholders throughout the business
  • Follow JIRA process and ensure tickets contain all necessary requirements for SW and or UX Design to implement requirements.
  • Ensure project tasks stay within an appropriate and defined project scope
  • Be a key contributor in the delivery of timely product releases
  • Gather critical information and document findings to be shared with the wider organization
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Perform user acceptance testing
  • Provide training and develop training materials
  • Work closely with partners to optimize and enhance our integration, develop implementation materials and provide post-implementation support
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
  • Develop presentations for internal and external engagements
  • Support clients with data upload and integration support. This includes but is not limited to data cleansing, data loading and data management support
  • Support in the development and updating of training materials and other end user support documentation
 

Qualifications:

  • Capacity to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Project management, issue identification and resolution experience preferred
  • Ability to reconcile key stakeholder interests, conflicting priorities, and business strategy
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
  • Knowledge or, or willingness to learn, JIRA and Aha for tracking project tasks
  • Master’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant work experience
  • Data analytics experience preferred; Advanced XLS and database experience required.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge in generation of process documentation
  • Knowledge or experience with scrum and agile project development
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to meet stringent deadlines, communicate progress on projects, and work with managers and other teams to coordinate multiple projects concurrently
  • Commercially minded with experience of setting and adhering to budgets and timelines
  • Capacity to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven self-starter, with demonstrated ability to take initiative and self-manage project delivery to deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through personal leadership and effective management of others
