Risk Analyst

AIR Worldwide, Singapore is looking for a highly passionate, motivated individual to join the Consulting and Client Services Group in their Singapore office.  This is a client facing role and your responsibilities will include client training, leading consulting projects as well as answering client questions.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree level qualification, with a major or minor in one or more of these disciplines:  Actuarial Science, Business, Mathematics, Civil Engineering and Risk Management. Experience in the field of Insurance is an added advantage. Proficiency in English oral and written communication is must, particularly the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.

 Job Description

·            Perform sophisticated risk analyses using AIR's cutting-edge technology for insurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries in the internationally expanding business of catastrophe risk management

·            Add value to modeled results through customization of output tailored to the needs of clients

·            Communicate directly with clients to develop project timelines and manage deliverable expectations.

·            Help clients reliably assess and manage their catastrophe loss potential through interpretation of modelling results

·            Recommend new approaches to risk management for AIR and our clients

·            Work with a high-powered team of professionals to understand and enhance our risk-modelling techniques

·            You will also use technical, analytical, and project management skills to work with clients to enhance their usage of the AIR suite of solutions and help troubleshoot any software-related issues. You will work closely across the software development and product teams to solve client issues.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·       Good to have some data analysis experience using SQL, MS Access, R, C++

·       Ability to manage multiple projects

·       Proactive problem-solving skills

·       Results oriented

·       Knowledge of statistics and business

·       Actuarial or underwriting industry experience a plus

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

·        0-1 years’ experience in consulting or insurance fields

·        Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in quantitative field such as Economics,                  Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science and Risk Management.
