Geomni provides the most efficient platforms for multi-tier geospatial data and imagery acquisition. This imagery is primarily captured by our own fleet of fixed-wing aircraft across the United States but is also frequently acquired by the use of UAVs or ground imagery. We use the latest and greatest remote sensing and machine learning technologies to gather, store, process, and deliver the most accurate geographic and spatially referenced information. Our data analytics and imagery reach a vast array of markets, from property and casualty insurance claims, all the way to urban planning.

This internship is a paid opportunity based in our Lehi, UT location and is designed to offer college students majoring in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or another related field, with hands on experience.  We offer the option to work up to 40 hours/week in the summer and 15-29 hours/week during the school semester. Responsibilities include:

• Working with the GIS team on assigned projects
• Uses geospatial data to verify, clean and process imagery
• Provide input to GIS workflow documentation and management.
• Ensure that data obtained from remote sensing systems meets quality assurance guidelines
• Analyze, query geospatial data for business intelligence purposes
• Assist in the evaluation, processing of partner data of different types
• Participate in work groups to further enhance data production tools and workflows

• Must be in the last year of school looking to potentially transition to a full-time opportunity
• Quick learner that thrives in a team environment
• Proficient in at least one GIS/CAD tool, including but not limited to Pix4D, ESRI ArcGIS, MapInfo, Global Mapper, or other GIS related tool suites.
• Working knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD, Python, and Microsoft SQL are a plus
• Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills
