Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Research Analyst to join our Corporate Research team in Houston.  Our corporate offerings provide independent analysis of over 50 of the world’s most important oil and gas companies, from supermajors to National Oil Companies. We provide unsurpassed proprietary data and analysis, underpinned by our industry leading asset models to our clients understand their peers and competitors, and make the best strategic choices.

About you and how you can excel in the role 

You are passionate about oil and gas and have built an in-depth understanding of the energy and finance sector in your current or previous roles in the sector. You have an analytical, commercial mindset and an eye for detail. You also understand the big picture, which enables you to analyse and form clear, coherent conclusions from a variety of data and information. You find it easy communicating complex or technical information and delivering messages that are easily understood. You thrive in a collaborative, commercial and client-centric environment. 

You have a proven track record of fostering strong working relationships, developing networks and influencing others. The way in which you work is productive and driven, striving to be best in class. You often share ideas, find better ways of working and make things happen.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role within an operator, investment banking or the investment community
  • Bachelor's Degree
