Job Description

We are hiring for a position focused on implementing usage-based (telematics) insurance programs primarily for the Personal Auto line of business. The roles will rely heavily on Big Data analytics and predictive modeling. Understanding of insurance and actuarial methodologies is a plus.

In this role, you will:
•    Be part of the team that leads the innovation and update of the ISO Personal Auto insurance program
•    Collaborate with remotely-and internationally-based experts and partners to aggregate data, develop models, and create and maintain products.
•    Satisfy customer specifications and requirements and meet contractual deadlines.
•    Respond to customer and regulatory inquiries related to our telematics programs.
•    Drive quality results and customer focus into everyday operations.
•    Collaborate with other ISO/Verisk divisions (Actuarial Operations, Compliance and Product Services, Government Relations, etc.) to maintain, enhance, and develop our standard personal auto products that respond to the current market, competitive, and technological landscape, and integrate them into ISO's Personal Auto Program.
•    Conduct research on new modeling techniques and new data sources to help support and enhance our standard auto products.
•    Support our products by responding to customer and regulatory inquiries; providing expert advice to customers; and developing marketing material, publications, and other documents to support such efforts. Build and maintain a network of contacts within and outside Verisk to keep up with market trends and customer needs.  Along with other special projects, this position will provide significant support and analysis for rating bureaus.
•    Occasional travel required for industry conferences, customer visits, etc.

To meet these goals, you will work with Product Specialists, telematics experts, and Product Strategy leaders to drive increased product enhancement and development, seeking to differentiate, competitively position, and adapt the Personal Auto program in order to leverage its value for our customers and partners and to integrate enhancements based on telematics. Your team will be locally- and remotely-based, including a few people outside of the U.S. You will need to be able to adapt and respond to market changes, including technological, societal, regulatory, and competitive landscapes, as appropriate.

You will be one of the key ambassadors for your products. This may include travel to customers, partners, and vendors to discuss and demonstrate the value proposition of our products, or to discuss customer requirements and our capabilities that will be required to accomplish objectives. As a product owner, you will also be responsible for interacting with regulatory authorities on the filing review and approval process of our telematics programs, as well as correspondence and requests for information. You may also need to represent your products and Verisk at industry meetings by giving presentations, participating in panels, or networking with colleagues and you may need to help write articles for publications, technical journals, marketing material, or whitepapers.
