Verisk 3E is searching for a Business Solutions Specialist to join the Classifications team at our HQ in Carlsbad, CA. 

INTERNAL CLIENT PROJECT SUPPORT

• Learn to classify in accordance with transportation, storage, and waste regulatory guidelines, meeting established department quality standards
• Respond to customer questions regarding identification of hazardous materials/dangerous goods in a timely manner
• Timely, accurate completion of activity reporting for client billing as needed
• Deliver and manage client files

EXTERNAL PROGRAM SUPPORT

• Develop and lead client webinars and training
• Support marketing by authoring white papers, articles, FAQs and other client-facing publications
• Partner with Client Services and Sales to lend technical support for key targets
• Offer program support for Sales by participating in pre-sales calls, program questions, traveling on-site upon request

NEW CLIENT START-UP AND CUSTOM SERVICES

• Support on-boarding of new clients or custom services by offering such services as regulatory research, review of custom scopes of work, analysis of existing processes and resources, as well as new processes, as necessary.
• Provide regulatory training for clients as needed
• Participate in regular customer conference calls up through client implementation
• Initiate contact with new customers, implement custom projects, and assist clients integrate Verisk 3E services into their compliance programs

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability learning technical subject matter
• Must be able to travel (approximately once per quarter or less based on client needs)
• Minimum 3 years direct client support experience with increasing responsibilities
• Experience in EH&S, Sales Support, Marketing, or Project Management a plus
