Job Description

  • Analyze product requirements, create test plans, test data and identify deliverables.
  •  Execute application, usability, functional, regression testing.
  •  Execute testing tasks, isolate problems, report and track defects & third party issues with a high degree of detail.
  • Evaluate testing results and enter problem reports in a problem tracking system.
  • Identify QA and testing issues, and generate solutions for process improvement
  •  Utilize state-of-the-art automation framework for regression test execution.
  •  Analyze data and meticulously document your findings.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 Years in Software testing Desktop and Web based applications.
  •  Extensive experience in writing test plans, designing test strategies and test cases.
  •  Good Understanding of Product development life cycle process and development models.
  •  Programming knowledge with C, C++, Java, .NET etc.
  •  Good knowledge in databases and writing SQL queries.
  •  Good communication, analytical and documentation skills.
  •  Have strong mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Be detail oriented and have a propensity for creative thinking
  • Experience with the following tools and technologies a plus: Automated Test Tools (SilkTest, RFT etc.), XML, Windows Networking, software development for Microsoft platforms.
