Job Description

We are looking for an Senior Financial Analyst with a wide range of financial and accounting experience to join our Finance team in LCI (California). This is a perfect role for someone highly organized, self-motivated and able to wear many Finance “hats” within a dynamic and exciting environment.

  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes to deliver accurate, timely and reliable business forecasts
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures to comply with Corporate standards
  • Manage the entire Accounts Receivable process; including various inquiries and collection efforts
  • Manage the outsourced (inter-group) AP and employee T&E processes
  • Manage all aspects of the Capital budget, including control over Internally Developed Software (IDS) processes
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to confirm proper coding
  • Compile monthly variance analysis for use by internal and group stakeholders
  • Review and Analyze monthly Financial data and P&L to ensure its accuracy
  • Assist with internal and external financial audits
  • Provide financial leadership across the business, and take an active role in the delivery of business forecasts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • 4 – 6 years of Financial Business Planning and Analytics experience

  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel; including v-lookups and pivot tables

  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Finance is a big plus

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Understanding of GAAP

  • Supports company and departmental initiatives with a positive attitude and sense of urgency

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision but a burning desire to learn and grow professionally

  • Extremely reliable and takes ownership over their work

  • Impeccable planning and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
