JOB DESCRIPTION

The QA Junior is primarily responsible to review workflow bugs, deficiencies and design suggestions for CAD software deliverables in multiple agile environments.

As a QA Junior, you will test applications that are used by Geomni’s clientele. In addition, you will assist in the development of production guides, training materials and user manuals. Your ability to focus on details and passion for precision & accuracy will be instrumental to your success.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will make you effective in your role as you tactfully present alternative solutions while advocating for our customers.

Requiriment and abilities:

Additional Essential Functions include:

·         Ability to create and follow manual/automated test cases for web, desktop, and console applications

·         Deep knowledge of tools to simulate application interoperation and user interaction in scenarios of regular workload and stressed environments using tools as Gatling.

·         Ability to register and follow new features, defects in issue tracking tools by describing reproducible step-by-step test cases, enriched with every required input data and videos, screenshots, or whatever necessary.

·         Experience using Selenium with Java.

·         Api testing, using tools like postman, Soap UI, etc.. and its automation.

·         Version control (Git) ,

·         Nice to have: Cucumber, Jenkins, Continuous integration, Continuous deployment, Project management and building (Gradle, Maven)

·         Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently based on the project requirements

·         Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

·         Good written communication skills.

·         Additional duties as assigned.

·         Must be a team player, quick learner, self-motivated with good critical thinking skills and work ethic.

·         Must have 2D and 3D spatial reasoning skills.

·         Experience in software testing, black box testing and defect reporting is preferred.
