Job Description

As a member of AIR’s Casualty Analytics Team, you will serve an important role in supporting our US and Bermuda-based casualty clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a small but growing team where you will directly influence the ways we enable client success now and in the future. Additionally, you will use your technical skills to distill key insights from client data, and then communicate these insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

·       Troubleshoot client issues and answer client questions related to the Arium Casualty Analytics Platform (CAP)

·       Analyze client data in support of proof-of-concept and paid consulting projects

·       Act as a conduit for product feedback from clients to rest of the Casualty Analytics Team

·       Develop training material & lead trainings for new clients

·       Provide demonstrations of Arium CAP software to current and prospective clients

·       Continuously challenge and innovate upon processes currently in place to support our clients

 

QUALIFICATIONS

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

·       Effective communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences

·       Data analysis using R and SQL

·       Knowledge of probability and statistics

·       Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

·       Ability to solve problems without having a prescribed set of steps to do so

·       Organized and detail oriented

·       Excellent relationship building skills

·       Understanding of casualty insurance including GL, E&O, D&O, EPLI, Environmental coverages a plus

·       2-5 years of insurance industry experience in actuarial, underwriting, ERM, or CAT modeling roles a plus
