Job Description

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Displays a sense of urgency for incident resolution.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment independently
  • Experience in an IT support or technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience or skills in the following:
  • Participation on multi-disciplinary, high-performance work teams/groups.
  • Participation in successful implementation of new technology and processes.
  • Successful experience in working with customers to develop effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
  • Proven initiative, good judgment and ability to achieve results.
  • BS in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of Computer Workstation experience with Windows 8, Windows 10, Office 365 and MS Outlook, Server 2012/2016/2019
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot SQL server. Assesses malfunctions of hardware and/or software applications for determining appropriate actions to maintain computer, printing, network, and database operations.

 

 

·         Primarily responsible for workstation hardware and software maintenance, installation and repairs in Windows Desktop environment. And VMWARE.

·         Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely technology support and problem resolution to critical internal customers.

·         Resolves Tier 2 service requests relating to PCs, servers, and network hardware and software problems and malfunctions: interacting and consulting with critical internal clients; provides guidance and follow-up to critical internal clients.

·         Independently capable of troubleshooting and resolving intermediate server and network issues

·         Provide phone system administration and support.

·         Grants authorized users the right to use a service, while preventing access to non-authorized users. AD, DNS, DHCP.

·         Executes policies defined by Information Security Management.

·         Asset Management of all hardware systems and software licenses.

·         Hands on experience on System Center Configuration Manager and ServiceNow ticketing tool. Maintains his/her assigned service requests in the Help Desk Ticketing System

·         Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

  • BS/Btech in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of Computer Workstation experience with Windows 8, Windows 10, Office 365 and MS Outlook, Server 2012/2016/2019
