Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a fast-paced production team? We’re looking for a motivated Press Helper on our 2nd shift to help keep our printing presses running smoothly and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the daily operation of web presses and ensure smooth production flow.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized press area.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials like ink, paper, and plates are ready to go.

  • Assist in quality checks — inspecting printed materials for accuracy in color, registration, and specifications every 15 minutes.

  • Step in to run the press when the operator is on breaks, lunches, or PTO.

  • Help with setup and maintenance tasks such as washing blankets, plates, and fountains.

  • Prepare and load roll stock for printing and inspect rolls for defects.

  • Accurately record production data, materials used, and downtime.

  • Perform light preventive maintenance and keep equipment ready for the next run.

  • Safely move materials and finished products (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

  • Participate in training and cross-training opportunities to expand your skills.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to operate press without supervision
  • 3+ years prior production machine operating experience
  • Must be able to identify colors and imperfections
  • Must display excellent work habits willingness to be a team player
  • Proven track record in waste reduction and profit improvement
  • Must have strong analytical skills independent thinking and written and verbal communications skills

Additional Information

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hourly + $1.75 Shift differential and Overtime
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
