Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Industrial Engineering to provide transformative leadership and drive innovation, strategy, and continuous improvement within our organization. This role will oversee the integration of human, system, material, energy, information, and technology resources to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.

As a key leader, you will develop and justify project initiatives, manage technical project implementation, maintain process and equipment standards, and conduct value analyses. You will work cross-functionally with leaders from Manufacturing, IT, Servicing, Client Services, Product Development, and Procurement to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.

 

  • Provide strategic direction, planning, and leadership to technical teams, ensuring long-term performance and operational standards.

  • Evaluate business, manufacturing, and service environments to identify optimization opportunities and develop new capabilities.

  • Lead innovation, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain costing systems for all products, incorporating machine specifications, material specifications, and budgeted accounts.

  • Manage and maintain engineered work measurement standards to optimize labor costs, machine efficiency, and utilization.

  • Design and establish productivity reporting summaries to control and improve costs and efficiency.

  • Prepare and manage capital budgets, process budgets, and project proposals (capital justifications).

  • Lead facility layout design and upgrades to enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Participate in or manage special projects as assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing optimization.

  • Proven experience leading strategic projects and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and cost reduction strategies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in industrial engineering software, and automation technologies is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Salary: $104,000 - $140,000 + 15% Annual Bonus
  • Hybrid work schedule with 3 - 4 days in the office
