Job Description

The VP, Sales Enablement will focus on driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the global Sales organization with the overall goal of achieving the company’s profitability and revenue targets. This role will work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product, Data and other cross functional teams to deliver results and will be considered a key stakeholder and thought leader at Vericast.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

 Leads key operating processes within Sales: Sales Training; Sales Operations; Sales Enablement; Sales Compensation and Incentive process.

 Design and implement a sales enablement strategy that will ensure success and increased productivity of the sales organization.

 Design and implement a robust set of operating metrics to evaluate business performance and deploy across the sales team. Use the operating metrics and other business intelligence to shape and drive business plans and tactics.

 Drive revenue innovation and thought leadership through sales operational execution of strategies and tactics resulting from the gathering and translation of data, and in collaboration with business leadership.

 Play a key role in the design of sales compensation and sales incentive programs to drive sales success.

 Ensure the effectiveness of the Sales compensation/incentive program.

 Partner with sales leadership to optimize organizational structure and processes to drive revenue.

 Draw strategic insights from data. Assess trends and deliver analytics that result in projects that contribute to revenue outcomes.

 Deliver effective training and development solutions that optimize the effectiveness and productivity of the sales organization. Oversee business calendar where sales is a recipient of training initiatives and gain buy-in and support from senior management.

 Create appropriate processes to ensure the interchange of information from/to sales.

 Champion Sales into the support functions ensuring alignment and accountability.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)  

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years experience in sales operations, analytics & planning experience, managing and growing teams; demonstrated ability to recruit top talent and manage team growth. 
  • 10+ years experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders to drive change across multiple business units.
  • 8 - 10 years experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments. 
  • 8 - 10 years experience in supporting projects and initiatives that ultimately result in an increase in revenue and margin targets. 
  • 8 - 10 years experience articulating sales & business operations and strategy related concepts to all audiences. 
  • 8 - 10 years experience in hiring, managing, developing and retaining Sales professionals at all levels. 

DECISION MAKING
Accomplished in making judgements and implementing procedures that require extended skill in order to ensure proper completion.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

10-15% Travel 

Additional Information

Base salary: $160,000-$200,000

Position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
