Job Description
The Service Optimization Specialist supports projects and initiatives that enable customer-facing teams to perform their roles more effectively by ensuring that the appropriate training, tools, processes, resources, product knowledge, and technology are available to support our clients’ success.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process, Tool, and Resource Simplification: Identify opportunities to fuel change and improvement through streamlining, solution development and implementation, and expertise sharing. (40%)
- Continually iterate process enhancements to simplify and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify improvements to existing products, processes, and internal tools. Determine areas for improvement in execution, hand-offs, documentation and/or opportunities for automation to ensure Vericast is maximizing efficiency.
- Gather and compile user input for application and tool development, process simplification, and enabling technology for review and prioritization. Partner with Product and Engineering on development, user acceptance testing and deployment.
- Associate Success: Provide our associates with the knowledge, tools, resources, skills, and confidence to perform with success. (30%)
- Apply training knowledge to create training content resolving both tactical (“how”) and purpose (“why”) training needs and gaps. Deliver training in a variety of forums including new hire onboarding, individual or group sessions, in the moment situational guidance, etc.
- Adapt training content and resources for multiple learning styles (auditory, participatory, visual, etc.) and provide applications to relate to audiences with diverse backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and skill sets/capabilities.
- Function as subject-matter expert in implementing on-going, evolving training programs to address process challenges. Guide associates through resources with a goal to teach self-sufficiency and proficiency.
- Continuously review and implement improvements to overall responsibilities for designated roles, updating training materials, reference documents and other collateral, and provide easy accessibility for designated associates.
- Business Expansion: Support innovation and integration of our product portfolio to drive revenue growth. (30%)
- For new products, contribute to the development of cross-functional process workflows, best practices, and training content/resources to support new product rollouts from quote to invoice to maximize efficiency.
- Support efforts to drive improvement of processes and profitability for Vericast. This includes creating process and documentation update for new and existing products and features from quote through invoice as products and functions evolve.
- Identify opportunities to share best practices across business units to drive efficiency and improve the user and client experience.
- Project Manage projects, ensuring key milestones are achieved, stakeholders are engaged, and results are achieved.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising preferred.
- In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years’ experience with developing and delivering training content to a variety of audiences.
- 1-2 years’ experience with identifying opportunities for improvement and/or simplification and collaborating on projects to implement improvements.
- Experience leading projects is desirable, but not required.
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Works closely with Client Solutions & Services (CS&S) leaders, new and existing associates, and cross-functional partners including senior level stakeholders to drive improvement and implement training.
DECISION MAKING
Requires problem-solving skills, interpretive thinking, and judgment to develop solutions for problems and issues sometimes with little direction.
Additional Information
Base salary: $55,000-$77,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
