The Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A reports to the FP&A Director and will have constant interaction with all departments and all levels within the company. They are responsible for developing expense analysis, forecasting, and planning.

This is a hybrid position, so we are looking for candidates who are comfortable and available to come in to our office at 15955 La Cantera Pkwy San Antonio, TX 78256 2-3 days per week. Mondays and Fridays are work from home.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable for preparation, analysis and reporting of assigned processes’ results as compared to budget updates and prior year, including analysis of changes in staffing to senior leadership. 25%
• Prepare and maintain Budget and Forecast for assigned processes. 20%
• Identify trends & opportunities for leaders to effectively manage their expenses to Budget. 15%
• Ensure planned expense is captured in the correct reporting period. 15%
• Continually evaluate and improve processes and procedures and maintain models used for financial analysis and reporting. 15%
• Assists in other assignments as needed. 10%

EDUCATION

• CPA, MBA, or MS preferred, but not required

EXPERIENCE

• Requires 3 to 5 years in accounting or finance, related activities with specific experience in analyzing detailed financial data and reports
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail Oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to present to senior leaders.

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

Constant interaction with all departments and all levels within the company.

DECISION MAKING

Decisions will be made to implement policies and procedures with direction from V.P. Financial Planning.

OTHER

Purchase order requisition validation and approval. Participate in Operational Finance team activities. Review analyze and report on assigned special projects. Collects and interprets data and prepares analyses and forecasts.

Base Salary: $75,000-$90,000

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
