Position Summary

Completes the production process for printed material by operating bindery equipment, to include Folio and Cutter.  Supports the manufacture of Business products through a continuous production operation, requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.  

Key Duties / Responsibilities - Essential duties are identified by asterisks.

Operates bindery equipment in an efficient manner - moves work from conveyor to equipment; ensures work is even as it moves thru the equipment to prevent jams; pushes buttons to operate equipment; removes work from equipment; performs required quality checks; moves work from equipment to conveyor; cleans and restocks work station.  (90%)

Performs required preventative maintenance. (5%)

Performs other tasks, as assigned. (5%)

Qualifications

Education & Knowledge Required

High school education required or equivalent required.

Experience / Skills / Abilities Required

Previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.
