Job Description

Harland Clarke, a Vericast brand, offers a year-round TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED, BRIGHT, CLEAN manufacturing printing team-based environment.

Schedule: Flexible hours. Must be available to work Monday - Friday, between the hours of 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, up to 29 hours/week.

May work weekends.

JOB SUMMARY
Fulfills orders for a variety of finished goods (printed forms, cash bags, boxes, marketing and sales materials, other). Fulfillment includes picking, packaging, and
loading the truck for shipment of the orders to customers.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Packaging and shipping of printed fulfillment orders ie. counter items. 10%
Runs reports to get a current list of orders. 10%
Reviews reports and determines which orders are priority and need to be fulfilled that day. 10%
Creates pick lists for the orders to be shipped. 10%
Scans order from barcoded pick list. 10%
Pulls the products ordered from the fulfillment inventory. 10%
Prepares the order for shipping. 10%
May include boxing and/or stacking on pallet, shrink-wrapping, creating and adhering shipping label, and producing shipping documents. 10%
Loads the orders onto truck. May include use of rolling carts manual or electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts. 10%
Performs other duties as required. This job description may describe only one skill (or part of a skill) within a multi-skilled production team member
job. 10%


EDUCATION
HS diploma or equivalent. Position requires average intellectual abilities and work habits.


EXPERIENCE
Entry level - 0-3 years of previous production or warehouse experience


COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Position is relatively independent. Occasionally interacts with others in work unit. No interaction with anyone outside of plant except during tours.
Communication is with other plant employees and leaders.


DECISION MAKING
Must be able to decide which jobs are priority to be processed that day.
