Job Description

This is a Full-time, Permanent Position.

Vericast is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager with extensive strategic, paid social and best in class B2B/B2C expertise to drive transformational change for our organization. This person will focus on developing social strategy for both B2B and B2C initiatives, and executing against that strategy through premium and engaging content that cuts through the noise on our priority platforms (primarily LinkedIn for B2B, Facebook and Instagram for B2C) and resonates with our target audiences.

Our ideal candidate has a results-driven resume – showing how his/her decisive and progressive social leadership has driven tangible change for the business at any level of the funnel; from growing awareness to building loyalty, driving meaningful conversation to accelerating customer or consumer conversion or action.

This person should have an entrepreneurial spirit paired with buttoned up organizational and process efficiencies, and bring a passion for ad tech, consumer behavior, and brand transformation to the role.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Own development of strategy, planning, and execution of social media content across primary social sites (LinkedIn for B2B, Facebook/Instagram for B2C)

•   Define, develop and manage paid social efforts, including optimizing our budget and partnering with our Demand Gen team to ensure lead gen efficiencies and alignment

•   Drive organizational change in how we “do” social media – focused on scalable opportunities for growth

•   Provide leadership and social strategy insight across the org, contributing to Corp Communications, PR, product and content initiatives more broadly

•   Plan campaigns around high-growth product and solution launches and seasonally- or topically-relevant moments, integrating with the broader marketing calendar

•   Monitor performance, analyzing and reporting social media KPIs on a monthly basis, sharing successes and identifying in real time new opportunities

•   Stay up to date – and confidently share thought leadership – on latest technology, social products or opportunities, and best practices

Qualifications

•   Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (Required)

•   8-10 years Social media management, content marketing, or other relevant experience (Required)

•   Expertise with all of our business-critical social platforms, with in-depth knowledge of best practices on each and a deep understanding of how different social platforms can be deployed to drive engagement

•   Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone

•   Significant expertise running and optimizing paid social campaigns

•   Experience in tracking, analyzing and reporting on campaign metrics, with an eye toward improving efficiencies and meeting KPIs

•   Experience creating and deploying engaging content that delights audiences in both B2B and B2C sectors

•   Exceptional relationship building skills, with proven ability to collaborate across functions and cut through silos

•   High energy creative thinker with the ability to balance idea generation with execution and analytics

•   Strong project management / organizational skills - balancing project and business priorities with ease
