As a Senior Software Engineer , your work is central to keeping us at the forefront of our industry.

A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the development of new software technologies as well as the maintenance and support of existing software solutions.  The Senior Software Engineer is a contributor to all steps within the SDLC including functional and non-functional requirements gathering, validation, analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation.   
 
The Senior Software Engineer primarily focuses on web development efforts that are utilized in a high availability, clustered web environment.  This role works in conjunction with project management and other technical disciplines to create websites and applications that fulfill our internal and client business requirements according to budget, scope, design, quality standards and timeline. 

 Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Key member of development team. Hands on development. 60%
• Code reviews, QA plans and procedures to support project implementations. 20%
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Development to determine system enhancements and new functionality. 10%
• Perform research into new tools and technologies for use by the development team. 10%

• 5+ years of professional software development experience. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• Expertise in Object Oriented Programming and Design. Preferred Ruby on Rails and Ember JS experience.
• Experience in taking a reasonably large area of functionality live into Production.
• Experience in schema design for a relational database like MySQL.
• Experience deploying software on elastic platforms such as Kubernetes, EC2, Mesos, etc. is a big plus
