Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for planning and organizing production reporting and scheduling production requirements.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and maintain the accuracy of the following reports and projections in accordance with established company systems and procedures to include but not limited to the following reports, i.e. Production Input Control, Daily Weekly Operating, Downtime Summary, Muller and Cheshire Downtime, Daily Production Declining, Schedule Production Work, and Oracle Activity.
Perform research and activities to acquire the knowledge and understanding of machine components and manufacturing operations.
Develop, implement, and monitor proper scheduling procedures to maximize production and minimize downtime.
Demonstrates advance skills in computers and production reports.
Creates address files for GMS and synchronize data for carrier route level coverage.
Communicate with management concerning production scheduling and reports.
Provides counseling and training to other technicians to ensure business needs are met.
Investigate and pursue opportunities for related industry training and certification, to create networking opportunities and increase workplace performance.
Provide advice and support to the production and logistics managers and ensure that all business requirements are met in a timely manner.
Oversee the distribution of Change Notices and Solo Masters.
Notify management of any problems adversely impacting production.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
Prefer associates degree or equivalent experience
Pursuit of training and certification through the American Production and Inventory Control Society
EXPERIENCE
Required 3 – 5 years related experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language
Good written English skills
Advanced computer software experience
Strong knowledge and understanding of machine components and manufacturing operation
Advanced knowledge of production and material reports
Open communication with Client Services
Strong continuous project experience
Demonstrates advance skills in computers and production reports

Qualifications
Education & Knowledge:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Information
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Office Environment, computer usage and walking on the production floor as needed.
