JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Specialist supports and oversees implementation and execution of various efforts related to client’s marketing strategies. He/She will work in partnership with internal teams to identify and fix process gaps to deliver high quality solutions while shortening go-to-market timelines. This role will be hands on within the marketing platform, as well as coding and testing using Python language.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages offer targeting and implementation across multiple online and offline channels for financial institution clients to achieve a specific objective. 30%
• Performs hands-on coding for data processing using Python and builds SQL-like logic to implement campaign rules within the marketing platform. 30%
• Manages stakeholders towards meeting project requirements and creating project deliverables; and sets priorities to accommodate needs of clients. 20%
• Strong Collaboration, acting as an internal consultant for campaign design and requirements. 10%
• Regularly provides guidance to and assists in training of less experienced personnel. 10%

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ Years with Bachelor’s degree or 9+ years’ work experience required.
• SQL coding experience required.
• Python coding experience required.
• Prior experience working with marketing platforms preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Above average proofreading/checking skills.
• Knowledge of the financial sector, specifically B2C lending solutions preferred.

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

• Communicates directly with internal customers.
• Communicates with vendors.  

DECISION MAKING

A Process Manager reviews existing hardware and software used to conduct business activities and ensures that they are performing in an optimal way through analysis, system modification, and analytics.
