Our client, an SME based in Nairobi is looking to recruit a HR Officer to provide strategic leadership and direction for the Human Resources function across all its business lines spanning Liquor distribution, Safaricom Business and Pharma consultancy. The role focuses on aligning HR strategies with the organization’s business objectives, driving talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and fostering a strong organizational culture. The Head of HR will play a critical role in promoting operational excellence and ensuring employee satisfaction and retention.

• Own end-to-end credit operations and portfolio performance
• Oversee execution, business development, disbursements, and controls
• Coordinate cross-functional teams -Credit, Operations, Collections, Tech Support
• Drive operational discipline, reporting, and execution cadence

• Act as operational right-hand to management on credit matters

• A degree in Business Management
• At least 3-year experience, preferably in a microfinance or lending institution
• Ability to work closely with line management and with minimal supervision
• Ability to lead and train a sales team
• Self-driven with a positive attitude

Salary budget: 50k-60k
