Our client an internet service provider based in Karen Nairobi, is looking to recruit an accountant to work under the finance manager.

Job Description

Overview of the role

Maintain all the accounting records, produce accurate and timely financial reports while ensuring financial compliance in accounting areas.

Key responsibilities

Reporting(weekly and monthly reports)

Business planning and budgeting

Statutory compliances

Financial Analysis

Treasury management

Procurement management

Receivables and Payables management

Inventory management

Fixed asset management

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting and minimum CPA II

Minimum 3-4 years' experience in accounting with a 2 year experience in Auditing

Excellent understanding of financial issues and key profitability measures

Excellent analytical  and statistical skills with attention to details

Committed and self driven to achieving goals

Excellent in business/ strategic planning and execution of the same

A good team player and customer focused

Conversant with in cost management techniques

Consistently meet deadlines

Excellent understanding of  accounting systems and ERP & BI systems

Availability to report  immediately or at a short notice
