Verde Edge, wishes to recruit a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, an established Kenyan SME, a key distributor of food processing and bakery equipment in East & Central Africa.

 

Job Description

Key objective/Purpose of the Job.

Expand the company’s clientele by creating an effective sales strategy and driving sustainable  financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients to promote the company products
  • Prepare sales contracts as per company guidelines
  • Deliver the sales targets, keep records of sales, revenue etc
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after sales support
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable sales professionals

 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience in sales and track record as a  business development manager or sales executive who delivers targets
  • Experience in customer support and raport building
  • Proficency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Self driven with good market knowledge
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Great  time management and planning skills
  • BA/BSC in business administration, sales & Marketing or any relevant field of study
