Location: Nim Wan, Tuen Mun

• Supervise the day-to-day landfill activities and new development activities, ensuring a seamless site transition from the construction (CAPEX) phase into full operations;
• Plans, organizes and coordinates operation activities for disposal of waste in conformance to all levels of environmental regulations and the Company policies and procedures;
• Manage and directs preparation of master work schedules to reflect treatment capacities, available manpower, delivery dates of waste, etc;
• Develops and maintains methods of communication on schedule fulfillment, delays, and/ or changes in treatment operations;
• Supervise, train and oversee the implementation of safety at work;
• Review the work of the Operations Department, assure compliance with applicable requirements, laws, rules and regulations;  - Oversee and participate in the development of the annual budget;
• Attend and participate in organizational and community meetings as necessary;
• Directs and supervises facility workforce; sets priorities and assigns projects to facility personnel, assuring effective use of employees to maximize daily/ weekly output to meet operational objectives; 
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental or related disciplines;
• Valid Hong Kong Driving license (Class 1, 2).

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in landfill industry with capacity in management and production operation;
• Demonstrated leader, excellent people management skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills;
• Meticulous, committed, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently;
• Communicate effectively in Chinese and English both orally and in writing.
