Job Description
As a Sales Coordinator, you'll manage the complete quote-to-PO process for our Aquaray® Ultraviolet (UV) Systems, serving municipal customers.
You'll be the critical link between our outside sales team, customers, and internal stakeholders—translating customer needs into accurate quotes for UV treatment systems and related parts, then shepherding orders through to completion.
This isn't typical administrative work; you'll need to understand customer challenges, ask the right questions, and turn those insights into precise quotes.
What You'll Do:
- Receive customer requests and clarify their needs to create accurate quotes
- Learn our Aquaray® UV Systems product line and parts catalog
- Build customer profiles in SAP and generate quotations through to purchase order
- Manage multiple concurrent customer requests while maintaining accurate records
- Coordinate across finance, procurement, and the commercial team to move deals forward
- Communicate with customers and internal teams via email and phone to resolve questions and keep orders on track
- Track sales information in Salesforce and SAP
- Identify process improvements and take initiative on follow-ups.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- High School diploma/GED
AND one of the following:
- 3+ years of operations, customer service, or administrative support experience, OR
- 2+ years in a technical or operational role (applications engineering, technical support, field service, or similar) within the water industry
Essential Qualities:
- Self-starter: Own your work and drive it to completion with minimal oversight
- Curious: Ask clarifying questions and genuinely want to understand customer needs and how things work
- Organized: Manage multiple priorities and keep track of moving pieces across different customers
- Comfortable with business systems: Pick up software platforms like SAP and Salesforce quickly
- Strong communicator: Write clearly and speak professionally in English
- Collaborative: Work well across teams and support your colleagues
- Sound judgment: Make decisions that balance customer needs with business objectives
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience with SAP or Salesforce
- Familiarity with water treatment or UV systems
