Job Description

Position Purpose: 

Responsible to lead activities related to Water Quality and Network Asset Management product lines assigned to the Region. The project manager may be responsible for coordination and facilitation of projects related to Tanks, Water Mixing, TRS, RCS, Chemical Cleaning, SIPP, AMI, Filter Maintenance, or other products or lines of service for the USG Region in conjunction with the Product Line Managers. Manage the project life to facilitate product delivery while ensuring gross margin objectives accomplishment of the projects under his/her responsibility.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

Key responsibilities

  • To ensure gross margin objectives accomplishment of the projects under his/her responsibility
  • To facilitate project transfer and delivery from the Water Quality Services and Network Asset Management Product Line Managers to the regional USG Service Center
  • To ensure successful product delivery by the Suez Service Center during installation and/or service as defined by the Product Line Manager
  • Facilitate the Product Line Managers with sales and service related to his/her area
  • Coordination of regulatory compliance of the sales opportunities & projects under his/her responsibility

Key functions and tasks

  • Managing the project life cycle from development by the Product Line Managers to delivery by the USG Service Center
  • To coordinate all the activities developed by the project teams & other areas involved in the projects (sales and operations)
  • To analyze and understand the customer & market needs and demand.
  • To manage customer requirements and solutions adaptation to customer needs.
  • To lead Water Quality Solutions and Network Asset Management projects / service delivery
  • To manage service permits for projects delivery, co-leading relationships with regulators
  • To collaborate in the implementation of the delivery & operations model related to distribution network water quality services and work with the Product Line Managers to standardize procedures within the region and company
  • To collaborate and partner with others to develop business relationship 
  • To collaborate in the management of the entire Water Quality Service line life cycle (strategic planning, products and services development, sales and service delivery).
  • To collaborate in the know-how & technology transfer from parent companies 
  • To control and produce controlling reports on the areas under his/her responsibility (sales opportunities, projects, …) to the organic hierarchy

Work Environment: 

Availability to travel extensively within the USG Region with additional national travel as required.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science or technical field preferred.
  • The successful candidate should have at least three years’ experience acting as a project /manager with high involvement in the sales of water quality services to water utilities or industrial customers.
  • Looking for a highly technical person who has experience managing specialized water industry services and/or projects.  The candidate should have acquired the experience working for a contractor, engineering or consulting firm, or water utility.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills required for presenting proposals with ability to adapt the message to the audience and within context.

  • Project management skills for the delivery of service and deployment of projects.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Strong knowledge in water distribution operations.
  • Deep knowledge in water quality issues and its management.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $90000 to $120000 per year
