Job Description
The Corporate Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Veolia’s growth in Thailand and the wider ASEAN region through M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Working closely with the Country Representative and regional development teams, the successful candidate will coordinate transaction workstreams, due diligence and support preparation of investment approvals, and actively participate in the sourcing strategy of opportunities aligned with Veolia’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. M&A and Strategic Investments
- Support transaction execution across the full lifecycle: origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop business cases, financial models, and valuation analyses to support investment decisions.
- Support Preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for the Investment Committee and senior management.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence (technical, financial, legal, ESG) with internal teams and external advisors.
- Support post-merger integration plans and monitor strategic KPIs.
2. Deal Sourcing and Market Intelligence
- Identify, assess, and cultivate partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition targets in Thailand and neighboring markets.
- Develop relationships with banks, advisors, private equity firms, and industrial players to enhance deal flow and market visibility.
3. Strategic Advisory Support
- Contribute to regional strategic planning, portfolio review, and capital allocation exercises.
- Support cross-border collaboration with other Veolia entities in ASEAN
- Participate in strategic initiatives related to new business models, circular economy solutions, or industrial partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Engineering, or Economics; MBA
- 7–10 years in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or project finance, ideally within industrial, energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors.
- Proven record of coordinating complex transactions or due diligence processes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging senior management and partners.
- Fluency in English required; Thai proficiency strongly preferred.
- High professional integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
