Job Description
Position Purpose:
Develop, implement, and maintain national waste management programs for key accounts and/or multi-site
customers in North America. Manage new customer onboarding processes to ensure continuity of services,
fulfillment of all contractual requirements, and best-practice standardization across branches. Be responsible for
driving routine service delivery as well as evolving or creating new capabilities, processes, or procedures to
address the unique needs of assigned customers. Collaborate with appropriate resources to contribute, and
engage and train appropriate teams to execute.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
- Provide program development and complete account management for national and key accounts.
- Engage multiple internal teams across company divisions to coordinate the effective delivery of contract commitments and drive process improvements via standardization, policy/process development, best practices, etc.
- Design and implement transition strategies to onboard new national customers.
- Support business development, operations, and technical teams to ensure and strengthen service delivery and address gaps in performance.
- Identify new service projects and service lines where Veolia may expand upon its turnkey offering to meet the needs of new or existing customers. Develop new pricing and service strategies that leverage Veolia’s current capabilities while driving and incorporating innovative solutions outside of Veolia’s core services.
- Manage assigned key/national accounts in all aspects including customer relations, project coordination, operations, issue resolution, reporting functions, etc. with an emphasis on expanding the business relationship.
- Function in a technical support role to customers and Veolia teams, especially the KAM team, by providing knowledgeable expertise in chemical grouping, disposal options, approvals, RCRA & DOT regulations, and compliance. Provide guidance and administrative support to Veolia and its customers when determining the most cost-effective methods in delivering quality services at a high level of satisfaction while achieving safety and sustainability objectives. Provide/develop expertise for wastes not typically managed by Veolia and consult accordingly.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
- Undergraduate degree.
- Advanced degree a plus.
- Continuing education in relevant topics a plus.
- Eight or more years of progressive account management/project management experience in the waste industry.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledgeable in relevant regulations, environmental technologies, and internal and external disposal site capabilities
- Knowledgeable in program development and project management methodologies
- Knowledgeable of service delivery models within Veolia and the waste industry
Additional Information
Targeted Annual Pay Range: Minimum of $80000 to a maximum of $100000
