Field Service Representative - Industrial Wastewater
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on an industrial wastewater treatment system. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including; biological wastewater treatment & anaerobic digestion. The process involves the innovative treatment of two separate streams of industrial waste, one through an anaerobic upflow granular sludge bioreactor, the other through an aerobic membrane bioreactor system to produce high quality discharged effluent water and environmentally-conscious methane biogas. About the role:

● Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipment.
● Perform analytical testing such as: pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
● Review lab data and make appropriate process changes based upon plant conditions and laboratory results.
● Monitor, adjust and maintain chemical injection systems
● Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
● Carry out mechanical, electrical and control troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
● Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
● Consult with customer management and operation teams.
● Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
● Meet customer access requirements to sites.
● Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications
● High School Diploma or GED 
● Advanced Education within the Water / waterwater industry OR 2yrs industry experience 
● Valid Driver’s License
● Experienced in a wet lab environment
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret laboratory data and make process

Preferred

  • 2 + yrs experience Anaerobic digester and Membrane Bioreactor operating 
  • Bachelor's in Chemistry / Biology
  • 5 + yrs Lab experience
