Job Description

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of the role is to develop opportunities into successful contracts. Interacting with clients to understand the problem and structure a solution. Interacting with internal parties for due diligence and internal approvals processes. The primary purpose of the role is to drive strategic growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that align with the company's objectives. This role serves as a critical bridge between potential clients and the organization, requiring the ability to understand complex business challenges and translate them into viable solutions. The position demands excellence in relationship building, both with external clients and internal stakeholders, to structure and negotiate successful contracts. Key responsibilities include leading opportunity qualification, solution development, and commercial negotiations while ensuring proper due diligence and risk management through internal approval processes. The role requires a strategic mindset to identify market opportunities, develop compelling value propositions, and guide opportunities from initial contact through to successful contract closure, ultimately contributing to the company's revenue growth and market position.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive client engagement and information gathering processes.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Develop detailed cost structures and financial models.
  • Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for each opportunity.
  • Identify and maximize the value proposition that align with both clients needs and Veolia’s capabilities for each opportunity and community.
  • Manage the WIN process for Go no Go (GNG) and Bid no Bid (BNB) for each opportunity.
  • Manage reporting for all commercial activities for key opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with regional VP on strategic direction, site PL to ensure operational alignment, and T&P resources for solution development.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years industry experience.
  • Water utility experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Self motivated with ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive opportunities from concept to closure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Technical knowledge of water and wastewater industry.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively across different functions and the ability to help colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $100000 to $150000 Per Year.
