Job Description

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of the role is to build relationships with utilities to enable our growth efforts with municipal utilities for water, wastewater and biosolids O&M opportunities.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with utility leaders and community leaders in strategic growth regions.
  • Promote the values of Veolia, Private Public Partnership contracting and contract operations to communities.
  • Identify and align Veolia’s offerings and value with key utility challenges.
  • Coordinate and lead proposal efforts and RFP response activities.
  • Manage reporting for all commercial activities for key contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with regional VP, site leadership, Technical &Performance resources.
  • Manage the internal corporate and compliance approval process for opportunities.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Contracting with Utilities and Private Public Partnership experience preferred.
  • Water utility experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Self starter
  • Results focused mindset
  • Strong customer relationship/management skills
  • Technical knowledge of water and wastewater industry
  • Highly organized and structured - able to follow a standard process
  • Able to work collaboratively across different functions and help colleagues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
