Job Description
Essential Responsibilities / Expectations:
Execute role as quality gate keeper for programming review, controls validation and testing (CVT) for all organizational process and technologies
Lead and execute large complex projects on programming, CVT, trouble shoot and field support for or all organizational process and technologies
To review the PLC/HMI guideline manuals & provide feedback for any improvements before official release.
Develop training manuals on programming, PLC and HMI
Work with global principal engineers and develop standard blocks for programming, create templates to improve efficiency of programming systems
To review the plan for training and impart training of graduates and engineers to provide feedback for any scope of improvements.
To review the identified LL & REX and validate it before documentation for future references.
Mentor engineers for effective processes during CVT on different technologies to make it more efficient, quick & error free
Lead and/or participate with the commissioning team to provide programming and related with the FSRs
Mentor engineers on programming plan and schedules
KPIs - Quality, On Time Delivery, Budget Vs Actual, Project Health Card, TAT for Site Resolution.
Key Skills required
Software tool expertise, especially with Rockwell software from AB, Siemens TIA portal & knowledge of any other make will be added advantage.
Good process knowledge & experience on various projects, especially water treatment processes.
To be able to review complex project inputs & specifications & customer standards.
Significant field experience, with good understanding of the site commissioning activities & support requirements for the commissioning team.
Any certification on any software tools training will be added advantage
Qualifications
Bachelor’s of engineering or equivalent
