Are you passionate about solving customers’ water and wastewater treatment challenges? As the Food &
Beverage Sales Manager, you will utilize Veolia’s unique portfolio of technologies and services to deliver
valuable solutions to a wide range of companies within the North American food & beverage market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales plan to drive capital equipment projects growth within the North American food &a beverage market.
- Sell ingredient water, wastewater treatment and reuse solutions to food & beverage customers.
- Build and nurture relationships at all levels within food & beverage companies, engineering consultants and EPC’s.
- In collaboration with our commercial and engineering teams you will understand and communicate customers’ needs, qualify leads, and work closely with all stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive, value- driven solutions for our customers.
- Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects that lead to short, medium and long-term success.
- Foster a strong partnership across other Veolia businesses to maximize synergy with their customers, products and growth initiatives.
- In collaboration with other Veolia WTS teams, integrate aftermarket services, products and chemicals offerings as part of the Veolia solution.
- Effectively build relationships, interface and collaborate with commercial operations, applications engineering, project management, project engineering, field service and other internal functions.
- Use technology systems and tools to track opportunities and provide updates on sales forecasting.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science, or equivalent from an accredited University or College (Or equivalent experience in the field).
- 5+ years’ water/wastewater treatment industry experience.
- 3+ years’ Sales, Applications/Process Engineering experience.
Desired
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for selling.
- Food & Beverage industry experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, gifted with interpersonal skills, and positive commercial acumen.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Successful track record penetrating new accounts and markets.
- Functional expertise with water and wastewater treatment technologies, including membrane treatment (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration), biological treatment (MBR, MBBR, anaerobic digestion) and thermal evaporation technologies.
- Experience developing complex capital projects.
- Working knowledge of commercial contracts, terms and conditions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM technology platform.
