Position Purpose:
Provides administrative and clerical support.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs clerical and administrative duties including answering the telephone, typing correspondence, and reports for their assigned department.
- Must be able to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Enters data from various sources to maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets.
- Creates, runs, and distributes standard customized periodic reports. Communicates follow-up requirements and to summarize reports, etc.
- Maintains Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual, an inventory of the office supplies, and an efficient filing system.
- Prepares and processes vendor invoices for payment.
- Assists in completion of monthly operating reports.
- Assures work is performed in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures.
- Performs related duties as needed such as providing administrative support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Requires the ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Must have the ability to work well and communicate with clients and the general public, and to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
