Position Purpose: 

C&D Tech IV is responsible for the effective performance of manual operations while acting as a lead person for personnel assigned to him/her.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Coordinates, schedules, directs and allocates the functions of assigned personnel.
• Analyzes job task in order to determine the solution or outcome.
• Participates in the operation of assigned work tasks.
• Assists in installations of equipment and materials.
• Observes all job-site safety regulations.
• Performs related duties as requested.

Education/Experience/Background: 

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 3 – 5 years of work experience in related field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

• Basic knowledge of skills related to the field.
• Ability to perform manual tasks.
• Ability to operate all hand tools and general equipment related to your field.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to cope with emergencies.
• Ability to direct and instruct others.
• Must follow all safety requirements for above and below work.
• Depth perception required.
• Ability to distinguish basic colors and various shades.
• Must follow all safety requirements for above and below work.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training: 

• Valid Mississippi CDL driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: 

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform the following: pulling hand over hand, reaching above the shoulder, pushing, walking, standing, crawling, climb stairs or ladders, kneeling and intermittent bending.
