Job Description
Essential Responsibilities General Responsibilities
Perform daily analyses per Standard Operating Procedures guidelines
Meet established due dates for all work assigned
Ensure quality of all results through adherence to the Quality Management System requirements
Follow all EHS policies and procedures
Provide support for other laboratory areas as assigned
Expected to be on-site in the lab 5 days a week, lab is located is Tomball area
Qualifications
Qualifications / Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related field
Analytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or techniques
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills including both Google and MS Office products
Desired Characteristics
B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related science
Prior experience performing analyses for industrial water or process systems
Experience using a LabWare or similar LIMS
Experience working in an ISO 9001 (or similar) certified organization
Skilled in one or more of the following areas: spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, spectrophotometry, microscopy, electrochemistry, filtrations, extractions, gravimetry, chromatography
Specific hands on experience with high volume, automated instrumentation
Experience with a variety of colorimetric techniques; including UV-Vis
